Don’t Make Me A Fool

London based Italian Singer-songwriter Violetta Zironi releases heartfelt single Don’t Make A Me A Fool as a follow up to her debut single Half Moon Lane (which reached #17 in the Viral Charts in Germany organically, streaming over 600k plays this spring).

Both tracks feature on her debut EP Half Moon Lane recorded in Berlin’s Hansa Studios with producer Tim Tautorat (The Kooks).

Violetta says Don’t Make Me A Fool resumes my everyday life for the past 2 years. As a continuum to my last single Half Moon Lane, which referred to my attachment to a place, this new song refers to my relationship with a person that comes along the way with me.”

‘Don’t Make Me A Fool’ is an engaging tale of young romance that’s sung in Violetta’s rather low-key vocal of pure cool, yet with some vulnerability (think an Italian Lana Del Ray). A piano laden waltz, the track is traditional in musical execution yet certainly appeals to a more modern audience.
