#DrunkOnMusic – Loom

S/T

Fronted by Tarik Badwan (brother of The Horrors Faris Badwan) LOOM have already a rash of radio acclaim and have been on tour with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes and more.

Loom formed through a shared distaste, boredom, and frustration with new music. They recorded and released two cassettes within their first year, the latter being a showcase of their most prominent initial influences – a six-track covers ep of The Jesus Lizard, Bad Brains, Pixies, GG Allin, Misfits, and Warsaw.

The band are about to release their debut self-titled album and we gave it a listen.

LOOM is a collection of cohesive, arrogant, forthcoming and self-righteously unapologetic rock. Without any airs nor graces, the influences are quite clear. From Pixies, The Stooges, The Ramones and New York Dolls, LOOM steer you this debut on a no holds barred rock collection of songs. Its riotous. its dirty. We Love it.

LOOM is released on Silent Cult Records 19/5/17
